the kunjiang 2 hydropower station project in vietnam consists of two cascade power stations:

the main structures of the first cascade power station hub are the left and right bank roller compacted concrete, the earth gravity dam of the first cascade power station dam, the roller compacted concrete free overflow dam, and the diversion type powerhouse. this cascade power station is equipped with two horizontal mixed flow units, with a total installed capacity of 3mw.

the main structures of the secondary power station are a 4-hole radial gate controlled overflow dam, a 44m long free overflow dam, and a diversion type power house. the length of the diversion tunnel is about 5155.24m. three vertical mixed flow units are installed in this cascade power station, with a total installed capacity of 60mw.
